Author and illustrator, Mo Hamzeh, was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, which eventually led him to attend college and graduate school at Johns Hopkins University. Mo’s family moved to New Jersey upon him attending college and he immediately joined his family in the Garden State once he completed his schooling. If there’s one thing that Mo values most, it is his family. If he isn’t with friends, traveling, or playing soccer, he undoubtedly is spending time with his family, specifically his beautiful baby niece whom he deems as his best friend. It just so happens that she was the inspiration behind this book.
